The law office was founded in the early 1950s by George M. Giannopoulos, who practiced law for more than 60 consecutive years, representing clients in a wide range of cases before the criminal, civil and administrative courts.
From the beginning of the 1970s, the office was joined by Maria Renieri – Giannopoulou, who also practiced litigation for more than 40 years, mostly acting as a legal advisor to the French Embassy in Greece. For her services, she was honored by the French Republic with the medal of Officer of the Legion of Honor.
In 2003, Pericles G. Giannopoulos joined the office, and he has since continued the legacy of his parents and founders of the office. Since 2013, the office has joined forces with the law firm of loannis K. Violaris and Aikaterini P. Melidoni, thus acquiring its current form, and basing its dynamic expansion and development on the synergies and harmonious interactions of the different professional specializations.
